New description:

 Tested with today's daily dev build for Android arm64 v8a on Android 16
 device. ScummVM 2026.3.1git31637-g29437b32ed0 (2026.3.13163729437320)

 When a game is detected as a few unknown variants and one of them is
 selected, ScummVM shows an unknown game dialogue with MD5 checksum info
 for select data files in order to report or copy that data to clipboard.

 On ScummVM in low resolution mode (landscape orientation) the app crashes
 before showing this dialogue panel.

 If it matters, for my GUI configuration I chose GUI scale as "200% -
 Extremely large", whereby the portrait orientation is still in hi-res mode
 but the landscape orientation uses the low-res mode.

 I am attaching the log trace I could find from logcat.
