 Well, I am happy that the actual bug is confirmed as solved :)
 Regarding the way how daily builds behave... I have no idea how they are
 compiled tbh and what is considered proper behavior. Like I told for me
 the build worked just fine (with usual yellow interface) and took the
 inner data dir. So probably it is not the common behavior everybody
 experience. In any case release build should be next month, so maybe not
 that important anyway.
