 I pushed a first fix to remove the cause of the crash. This change however
 has the potential to cause the game to quit scummvm (or rather to return
 to the launcher and then immediately quit scummvm) when we have both
 options to return to the launcher and to ask for confirmation. I have
 additional changes that I need to test before they are pushed.
