Well, as for dumb and inefficient, considering the power the PCs had the
time Day of the Tentacle was released (I had a DX2/66 and it was a top of
the line box at that time), they could not do much better... And well, on a
CD, you did not care wasting disk space.

As for recompressing MONSTER.SOU, I was not saying that we would release a
compressed file, but I was thinking something like releasing a tool that
would recompress it for you. After, it would not be that much more illegal
than recompressing your DVDs as DivXs to watch them on your laptop or
MP3izing your CDs :-)
