All this worked fine on the Dreamcast (after I fixed the detection
problem), provided that "south" is to the left of the screen and
"west" towards the top of the screen.  Otherwise it wasn't south-west
I had to walk...

However, when I tried the save function, I got the error message
"getSaveFileName wrong idx!" and the game exited.
