Does anyone have any solution for this issue yet?

I'm holding back the Sid release of the Debian package of scummvm 0.9.0
because of this issue; for Sarge I found it an acceptable compromise to
ship with the old theme, but for Sid I'd rather see the new theme
working before uploading a new version.
