BUt that's the point: It has to be defeated once. Sure, if they want  
to, they can get our email addresse. E.g. by simply subscribing a bot  
to this list. The point is, they have to spend that effort.... but  
where would the point be, it's not as if we have thousands of useful  
email addresses to gather here... you need to harvest huge amounts of  
addresses these days to stay competetive, and that's so much easier  
with an automated web spider that also scans e.g. Subversion archives  
via their web access, than to "defeat" any "protection" scheme we put  
into our credits.pl file :-).

If their web spider is intelligent enough to parse my email address  
out of
   add_person('Max Horn', 'Fingolfin', "", "max", "quendi.de");
fine, I didn't loose anything. If they let somebody manually extract  
the data: Wow, I just cost them more money/effort than they gain by  
getting my email address. It's a win-win situation, really :-).
