Dear GSoC students,

first off: congratulations for making it this far. We are very glad
to see you around, look forward to your contributions, and generally
are very excited about the whole SoC thing -- I hope you feel a bit
similar :).

For you and everybody else on the team: You can see a list of
accepted project proposals, together with the names of the students
doing them, here:
   http://code.google.com/soc/scummvm/about.html

Regarding the mentor names listed there: All our official mentors, as
well as the rest of the ScummVM team, will try to help you. As such,
I recommend that all of you subscribe to the scummvm-devel mailing
list, if you haven't done so already. It is relatively low traffic at
the moment, and you can use it to ask questions which might be of
public interest, or where you want to reach a broader audience (say,
if you need to ask details from porters, or from all engine authors,
etc.). Do not be shy to ask questions there! If we discover that
there is a high volume of questions to be asked, we can still migrate
to a separate mailing list.

In addition, use of our IRC channel #scummvm on irc.freenode, is
highly recommended. It's a very good place to ask questions.

For other things, contact one of our SoC mentors:
LordHoto = Johannes lordhoto at scumvm.org
Jubanka = Knakos = Kostas knakos at phys.uoa.gr (we still need to
setup a mail forward :)
sev = Eugene sev at scummvm.org
Fingolfin = Max (me) fingolfin at scummvm.org

Have fun and see you around,
Max
