[Scummvm-devel] ScummVM 0.11.0 release plans

Hi Team,

as it was mentioned earlier, we plan for release of next version of
ScummVM soon.

Here is the rough release plan:

  December 6th  -- testing season announced. We concentrate on bugfixing
  December 19th -- code freeze. Commit to both branches, only bugfixes
  December 27th -- branch. Trunk unfrozen
  January  4th  -- tagging
  January  8th  -- release

So if there are no complains, we will stick to this schedule.

Now usual set of questions:

 o Please, update NEWS file with your changed. I updated some, but
   could miss something. Also I have specific questions below

 o PS2 port. What is status of it?

 o PalmOS port: m68k port is considered to be dead? If so, update NEWS

 o AGI: is Mickey completable?

 o AGOS: should we mention OmniTV pack in NEWS?

 o GOB: Lost in time seems to be not ready for the masses

 o Parallaction: Any changes worth mentioning in NEWS?

Once we get branch we also should disable any unsupported games. This
includes woodruff, lost in time, ajworld, BRA.

I would like to hear status of all ports:

  - DC
  - NDS
  - GP2X (dead?)
  - GP32
  - iPhone
  - Maemo -- perhaps we will get it official this release
  - PalmOS
  - PS2
  - PSP
  - Symbian
  - WinCE

I will browse through all bugs as usually and assign them as release
critical. You should get my release status messages on a regular basis
soon.
