Hello world,

my name is Max Lingua, I am a Quantum Logics PhD and 3D embedded
developer.

I am the author of the Linux DRI Virge driver
(http://dri.sourceforge.net/doc/dri_driver_features.phtml)

I live in the Sunshine State (Florida), I do 3D videogames (mostly in
the IFE) and embedded core software (3d drivers, mpeg4 decoders, etc.)
I run a small business called GUE Tech, its website is down more than
up most of the times, cause I am a pretty lousy web designer. If
anybody more skilled than me wants go give it a shot, I am looking
forward!

I happen to be a PS2 developer too (modded PS2 and Linux Kit),
which is probably what really matters here ;-)

I was discussing with Max Horn about undertaking the PS2 backend
development and support, cause I think it's a great project and
deserves better care on the PlayStation2.

He suggested to enroll to scummvm-devel and to get in touch with
the original ps2 coder (Robert Göffringmann), which I did.

With a bit of luck (maybe the weather is bad during the week-end so
I cannot spend too much time at the beach ;-) we should have a 0.11.x
PS2 backend compiling sometime next week.

Once that's in place, I have couple of ideas and eye-candy features
that I may eventually drops in. If there is a wishlist for the PS2 port
please let me have it, otherwise we can start one ;-)

It's nice to be on-(scummvm)-board.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Ciao,
 -max
