[Scummvm-devel] Ports and their custom build systems. Do we need them?

For the PSP port there is not really anything you can do with the
Makefile that you can't do with configure.
At the time we added support to configure I didn't see a good reason to
remove the custom Makefile, and as long as it doesn't take much to
maintain it, we may as well keep it.
Yotam, who recently did the excellent work on plugin support, said he
prefers to build via the custom Makefile since he apparently has some
problems with configure on MingW, though I don't know if those problems
are with MingW or our configure script.
Personally I've been preferring the configure approach, and is what I
use for the official builds, so it should be in line with buildbot
generated builds.
