I've been wondering that, too. Whatever it is, let's replace it by a  
"D" ;). Pick whatever color you like.

BTW, I have no idea how to update anything on the planet website, so  
somebody else will have to put the favicon there.

Finally, I just updated the website and posted a news item about the  
revised logo & icon.
