[Scummvm-devel] Translate the website?

I don't buy that argument. By that logic we don't need to translate ScummVm itself either, as only minimal english knowledge suffices to access most of it.

Right now, to use ScummVM one must be able to understand some english, no way around it. If we translated the website, then this would be "fixed": From the ScummVM intro page ("What is ScummVM?" in many languages), to the download page, to ScummVM itself, all would be (potentially, at least) in the native tongue of the user. Only when it comes to more advanced stuff, such as the forums or the wiki, is english still necessary. 

Oh, and of course also for the manual and README -- it would of course be nice if those were translated, too, but as it is, we have a hard time to maintain even the english versions of those, it seems to me. In any case it's a lot harder than translating the website.
