Well I don't really mind that. Some prebuilt mingw toolchains on Linux I've
used had libstdc++ etc. dynmically linked by default, it should be taken care
that this does not happen.

In fact I have a working MinGW toolchain (on a Windows installation) myself,
my problem was that I am not sure how to create the installer using InnoSetup,
which is what we will still use this release.

I am not sure about nightly builds, the buildbot ones should be fine, right? In
fact I always thought we wanted to let buildbot automatically create nightly
Win32 builds using NSIS as installer. But nobody worked on setting up buildbot
for that AFAIK. Littleboy might know more about that, so Littleboy any news on
this?

Anyway if your friend wants to provide nightly builds using an installer in
the mean time, we could add a link to that from our downloads page for now.
Though of course currently only branch-1-3-0 builds should be linked there,
thus NSIS can't be used for now, since we decided 1.3.0 should only use
InnoSetup.

You should ask him to drop a mail himself about this, since we want
to have direct contact with people providing "official" builds.
