Hi all,

Given some recent and not-so-recent discussions related to AGS, it seems we may
want to clarify part of the GPL in our FAQ.

I think we should add something like:

Q: Since ScummVM is GPL, don't games supported by ScummVM also have to
open-sourced?

A: No. Parallel to http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#IfInterpreterIsGPL ,
game scripts are considered to be data, and are not covered by the
open-source requirements of the GPL. This is the case no matter if ScummVM is
distributed together with the game or not. Of course this does not affect
the other requirements the GPL has for distributing ScummVM.

Opinions? Suggestions for different wordings? To be clear: This is not a
change in our license, just something people sometimes seem to be confused
about.
