[Scummvm-devel] discworld savegame compatibility

Hi all,

Is it correct that savegames from different versions of DiscWorld 1 are not
necessarily compatible, but that we don't check for this when loading?
(Specifically due to a possibly varying number of global variables?)

If so, I think we should probably change the save/load code to detect
this and display a nice error instead of crashing.

Could someone familiar with Tinsel confirm this? (And maybe even fix it? :-) )
