That's correct. There are two major different English versions, one with
'GRA' files and one with 'SCN' files. The savegames for both are
incompatible. Not to mention, there may be differences between the
different language versions of the game - I can't remember off the top of
my head, but I'm not sure that there's any validation for that either.

I'm not sure how much free time I'll have this weekend due to uncertain
prior commitments, but if no-one else wants to have a look at it, I'll see
what I can do sometime over the weekend.
