I really have no opinion re: the splash screen issue (I didn't even know

...well, I can say Matt has shown me some serious support even at my 
most sucky.

In fact, that can probably said of pretty much everybody except for 
cranky old LeChuck, which is how I've grown fond of everybody over the 
years.

I *strongly* hope that Matt can change his mind and everyone else 
involved can make an effort to find some common ground - more than 
everything, I would be terrified if this were ever to constitute a 
precedent.

And if years of sappy movies have taught me anything is that nice things 
do happen on Christmas :)
