I think that it doesn't make much sense to me.
I would expect games to look and feel as close to the original engine
(with all settings maxed out, if applicable) as possible.
Plus, you could run into conflicts if you were to later discover that
Some Key is used to do Something in a script for Some Game... and you
mapped that key to something else in-engine.
