+1 here.

I'm myself interested in finally supporting shader based filters in our 
OpenGL backend and I'm still working on it. Sadly I got a bit side 
tracked by other things recently. I'll try to get somewhere in the next 
month. Then, the RetroArch license is really a non-issue IMHO.
