[scummvm-devel] Any updates on the original SCUMM/SPUTM source code?

Hello everyone!
Are there any updates on open-sourcing the original SPUTM (The original 
SCUMM virtual machine) source code?  On the ScummVM Forum I was only 
able to find mentions of Aric Wilmunder's plans from 2016, which 
apparently never materialized.

The ScummVM wiki documents source code release status/progress/process 
for some of the engines (such as Kyra), but the SCUMM wiki article 
doesn't mention the source code at all.

Hence, this inquiry :) (I presume the ScummVM team would know best if 
there is an ongoing effort regarding LucasArts, and if so, how it is 
progressing.)
