I too played through to the castle scene with DosBox now.
The attached DOSBox save is unfortunately not working for me, my game
still complains about a different interpreter saving the file and refuses
to load it.
I added one myself now.
I can confirm that this is a genuine (script?) bug in the original
interpreter.
Just like with ScummVM, the sound plays parallel with the "cell" sound,
they both clash and the normal music is recovered once Jollo releases you
from the cell and you gain back control of Alexander.
