 Thank you for all the test branches, i'll get to it

 yes, i was only testing branches earlier to your branch, but after the
 compiler flag changes, but those are not the culprit, i reverted those
 locally and it still broke.

 i'll test with a fresh master branch and yours (without mad) and report
 back
