Comment:

 Ok, reading up on this, my understanding is that there's a new fan made
 patch (Dec 2025) specifically for the English version of the game (Steam,
 maybe other too), that brings French subtitles and restores some content
 that was censored from the official French version.

 There's already another ticket created from the creator of the patch (also
 mentioning some compatibility issues with the ScummVM IHNM engine and the
 patch) so I'm closing this one as a duplicate.
