 i just started a new run in "action" mode and while i haven't reached an
 area where i could fight, Buster tells me that "If you want to use a
 weapon, just select it in the resource area (top right, if you got one)
 and press the "use" button to fire or attack" (means ENTER, i play with
 keyboard, mouse feels too strange for this kind of game)
