 PS: I should have been explicit above. I pushed a fix for that and also
 properly resetting the flags. In fact, previously, if you returned to the
 title screen and started a new game for the same game part, it wouldn't
 reset anything.. you'd start the new game at the same screen you were
 previously at. So this report helped identify multiple issues.
