 I'm actually now thinking of a system where you could enable (or the
 scanner enable) a new button bellow the controller mode on the top right
 of scummvm in touch devices.

 that mode would work 'with' the current touch mode (if any). It would have
 3 or 4 modes.

 disabled, gamepad to the left, gamepad to the right (and controversially,
 maybe not needed, gamepad to the bottom). This would arrange the gamepad
 with the current selected cursor mode and minimize the areas it appears in
 to one of those sides, so the user can switch if the game requires it in
 some areas where you want the touch cursor more in some area of the screen
 than others.

 Games that require mixed mores like this are very very rare, so this could
 be tied in to the scanner as a option and only enabled manually if the
 user wants to for unknown games I think. Although this is probably
 unnecessary, a game input option works too.
