 Looking at a youtube playthrough of the game, which seems to be on DosBox,
 the extra comma character is not showing and also the character glyph
 before the prompt seems to be rendering different (">" instead of what
 looks like "}" in ScummVM)

 The pertinent screen is at the timestamped 1:09:40 mark:

 Also in the playthrough it looks like the glitch where the PC office chair
 disappears does not happen in the game (this bug is mentioned as known on
 our ScummVM wiki page for Blue Force, with pending confirmation of whether
 it happens in the original game as well).
