 Tested with recent macOS Master builds from Buildbot:
 - Intel x86 build on an Intel Mac running macOS 10.6.8 & 10.11.6,
 - Apple Silicon build on a MacBook Air running macOS 15.7.

 This is one of 3 inappropriate changes observed in Myst3 since the merger
 of the 3D & 2D Graphics Managers (see also #16253, #16254).

 When using the Software 3D Renderer, Myst3 launches (with or without the
 engine's Widescreen Mod enabled), but ScummVM crashes when trying to start
 a new game from the game's Main Menu, or load a saved game from the game's
 Load Menu. Saved games can be loaded directly from the Launcher, but still
 crash when activated.

 The issue is limited to Master builds generated since the 2.9.1 macOS
 releases, and affects all macOS versions listed above.

 The macOS crash report for 10.6.8 & 10.11.6 reports the following error:
 - Assertion failed:(_renderer3d), Function presentBuffer, File
 /data/src/backends/graphics/opengl/opengl_graphics.cpp, Line 957

 macOS 15.7 isn't as specific, but does report assert_rtn, before calling
 Abort.
