 I had saved at the end of Chapter 3 originally (when the game prompts the
 player that it is the end of the chapter), and quit the game.  When I
 tried to reload my save the next day, it reverted back to Chapter 2,
 starting with the cutscene.  I then replayed to the same point, making
 sure to save every few minutes until I got back to the same point, saved
 and quit.  When reloading my save after rebooting the game, it once again
 reverted to Chapter 2's beginning cutscene.

 **EDIT TO UPDATE:** I have restarted the game and got back to Chapter 4 in
 one sitting.  The new save file starts from Chapter 4 as intended.  I am
 unsure if getting to a later chapter, quitting, and coming back will do
 the same thing or if I managed to just bug that one save file in some way.
