Comment:

 This is still broken with git HEAD (f0f7f104de1412a9 as of this writing)

 This is actually a game breaking problem, as late in-game you need to
 enter text via the keyboard in order to proceed.

 3009651910 bytes)

 Savegame attached.  Click on the register, click on the pen, cursor
 changes to keyboard, but no input is recognized.  Or you can just try to
 save the game as the original report states.
