I agree that DXA support in Broken Sword 1 and 2 would be nice -
particularly since we already have the encoder and the player - but
should we really drop MPEG2 support completely? The MPEG2 cutscene packs
are a little over 30 MB each. From what I understand, the DXA cutscene
packs would be at least three times that size (though it would be nice
if someone could verify this). True, the MPEG2 ones are noticeably lower
quality, but they're not *that* bad.

Also, from what I've heard, the BS1 / BS2 bundle that's being sold now
uses the MPEG2 cutscenes, which could also be a reason to keep the support.

Though of course, there *is* a part of me who wants to say "Yes! Drop
it! Death to drawing on the overlay!"

What I would like to see are some concrete figures on how the DXA
cutscenes would compare to the MPEG2 cutscenes with respect to size, CPU
requirements, etc.
