AFAIK, the Paypal terms of service do not allow people to have
multiple accounts with them; since I already have a personal account,
I would have to break the TOS to get a second one (I could do that
given that I have two addresses and two bank accounts, so they would
have a hard time to find out -- still, I don't like the idea of
consciously violating their TOS).
*Ideally* we'd have a company / registered organization / something
which constitutes a "legal person" as it is called in Germany, i.e.,
which has the right to open a bank account in its name. This would
then e.g. allow to grant multiple people access, while still being
able to track who did which money transfer.
As we don't have that, we need to use an account "owned" by an
individual. In order for multiple of us to be able to access it, we'd
then have to share the password, but would have no way to later on
track who made which transaction. I.e., it would require absolute
trust, that each password holder would (a) not abuse it and (b) keep
it absolutely safe.
Cheers,
Max
