There's a balance to be struck, of course.  The whole point was that few 
people would feel comfortable taking on as much responsibility as you 
and Max, and the only way of combating that is to parcel it out some 
more. And roles like "forums admin" and "main site admin" does not an 
army make :).

However, I'd say that if someone takes that much managing, they're the 
wrong person for the job :P. The forums admin should have prior forums 
software experience (or at least PHP/mysql experience), otherwise what's 
the point? Then the status quo is better.
