[Scummvm-devel] Migration to GIT?

All,
I know the subject of GIT migration has been discussed many many times and
quite a lot of work has been sunk into it (including some successful trial
migrations I seem to recall) but it always seems to turn into a bit of bike
shed painting.
Assuming we have settled on GIT (as I believe we have, implicitly if not
explicitly) is there any chance we can get an admin executive decision done
(Max and Eugene?) and start to put together a task list?
By all means add hold points for things like Windows users, if we really
need to, so we make sure we do not leave users in the cold but can we try
and get some momentum behind the process?
I added a place holder page on the wiki
http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/GIT_Migration as there did not seem to be
anything there. If I get some time later (debateable) I will pull out the
key issues from the mailing list logs and place them on that page.
Regards,
John

> What is a grue?
The grue is a sinister, lurking presence in the dark places of the earth.
Its favourite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered
by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and
few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.
