Hi Team,
So, it is time to start our usual release cycle.
I think this time we need to adapt our testing procedures a bit, and
testing only the following engines which had significant changes since
1.1.0:
* AGI (LSL1, SQ1, SQ2, BC, GR, KQ4 and MH1 should be enough)
* Drascula
* Gob (only Fascination)
* Groovie (M7G Mac only)
* Kyra (Kyra1 towns only)
* Lure
* Parallaction (Nippon Safes)
* SCUMM (only MM NES, Loom PCE, FT, MM C64)
* Teenagent
Feel free to add any games, but following engines have no significant commits:
AGOS, CinE (couple of minor bugfixes), Cruise, Draci (few minor
bugfixes), MADE, Queen (1 bugfix), SAGA (few but local bugfixes), Sky
(1 minor bugfix), Sword1, Sword2, Tinsel (1 bugfix), Touche, Tucker
I propose to skip SCI engine testing as a separate even, because the
results are fresh, but disable following games:
* Hoyle's 3
* Hoyle's Cards
* Mixed Up Mother Goose
I.e. those which are marked non completable. Of course, if you guys
manage to fix them before the release, I will not object ;)
The proposed schedule:
Sept 10th -- announce testing, feature freeze
Sept 17th -- branch
Oct 2nd -- feature freeze for backends and translations
Oct 8th -- tagging, release tarballs are uploaded
Oct 15th -- release
Starting from this release we also have to maintain translations, and
those have to be in sync before the release.
