[Scummvm-devel] ScummVM 2.2.0 Release Status: branched

Hi Team,

The branch-2-2 has just been created. That means that the master is not in
code freeze now.

Also, criezy will be switching the translations website to the branch
temporarily, because we will be merging U32 PR in the master.

What does it mean for you: from now on, all the bugfixes need to be
backported to the branch-2-2. Backporting is performed by means of git
cherry-picking and pushing to the branch. Please, be aware that the branch
is in permanent feature freeze now.

ATTN PORTERS: Please, consider doing test builds of your ports NOW, because
when we tag, it is too late to make any changes.

The remaining schedule is the following:

September 13th (Sunday): release tagged, porters start building their ports
September 27th (Sunday): release

The progress on the bug fixing is steady, I resolved all release blockers.
Please, spend a couple of hours on tacking one or two.
